Last night I was turning my room (and brain) upside down trying to find my MIDI cable. And for a second I found myself reflexively starting to type ‘MIDI…’ into Spotlight, the Apple Mac search function.
Now, I didn’t actually do it. But the fact that my mind, quite automatically, included it as one of the things to do when searching for a tangible object tells me that:
1) My recent heavy Mac use has affected my thinking more than I would have expected.
2) My lifetime of heavy computer use might well have rewired my brain.
3) HOW COOL WOULD IT BE IF YOU COULD ACTUALLY DO THAT?
