They’re like buses, right? No new remixes for a while and then two come at once. Very pleased to be able to set these loose (at last). People who’ve been checking my blog and mixes will know that I’ve been a big fan of Three Trapped Tigers since their inception about four years ago. Main man Tom Rogerson is a good friend of mine (we met playing in Jeremy from Summer Camp‘s old band). I was over the moon when they asked me for a remix and I picked my favourite song from their album. The whole thing – Route One Or Die – comes highly recommended, though. Download my mix below.
Diagrams is a new project from San Genders, who some of you might know from folk/electronica types Tunng. I’m a fan both of Tunng and their label Full Time Hobby. So the prospect of a remix was a tasty one indeed. The original version of Hill is a 5/4, Tom Waits style delight and also well worth checking out. My remix is gonna be on the flip-side of a 7-inch that’ll be out before too long. In the meantime, have a stream on moi.
